What is it like to trek in Nepal?
By definition, trek is to traverse over land, mountains and forests which Nepal is full of. Treks can be varied in several ways however. You can take a short starter route in the outskirts of the Kathmandu Valley over the surrounding hills. Quite a few of those routes have been well-explored over time and few are still off the beaten path but would be a lot more fun to walk through for a variety of reasons. It could be for your pleasure, fun, physical need, and research for your thesis or a mere indulgence in nature and out of ordinary cultures to the rest of the world. You could just as well choose a modest trek lasting for a couple of days or for weeks all depending upon your physical ability, time and patience or passion for the adventure in question.
